Samec Trust | Saving Lives
About Us
In 1995 our founder Saber Khan organised a conference How Accessible Are Your Services To Minority Ethnic Communities? This was attended by 90 delegates from health and public services, mainstream organisations and charities. As a result of the conference it became apparent that there was a need to address the inequalities in awareness of health and access to health services, and the SAMEC Trust (Service Access To Minority Ethnic Communities) was formed.
