F. Leaving a Gift in Memory
Why?
Many people are now choosing to leave a gift which will leave a lasting tribute to their loved ones, rather than floral tributes and other things that don’t provide an enduring commemoration or celebration of their loved ones' lives.
At SAMEC Trust we open a dedicated Memorial Fund so that the family and friends can see this tribute fund as a positive, fulfilling and inspiring focus for their thoughts and memories.
Sometimes family and friends like to add to the fund at notable times like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas, Divali or Eid etc. It is a very individual and personal choice but SAMEC Trust is always happy to help with whatever you feel most appropriate to you.
Sometimes people have even used it more positively, raising money for the fund with parties, by running a marathon and even on one occasion by holding a memorial car show to commemorate one of its active organisers.
It is important to know that even leaving a small amount can make a real difference.
Just £50 can provide a contribution to our Health Information leaflets for someone who needs vital health information that could save their or their loved ones life. In this way your tribute helps to improve the quality of life for those that don’t get the chance to be aware or access information .

How?
We will help you with every step that you need to take, starting a Memorial Fund immediately and providing cards to enable everybody to send their tributes to SAMEC Trust individually. However, sometimes families like to gather the tributes together and send them to SAMEC Trust themselves or to ask the Funeral Directors to do so for them.
