Barriers in communication have led to SAMEC Trust launching the SAMEC Signposting Service (SSS). The SAMEC Signposting Service is on hand to put callers in touch with quality of life organisations throughout the UK, and also inform them of how to access the widest range of service on offer to the public.

Our dedicated hotline is open from 10am to 1pm every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

About the SSS
SAMEC Signposting Service does not provide advice but signposts through information

• We have professionally trained volunteers working to the rules of Membership of the Telephone Helpline Association
• We work to highest principles of confidentiality and informed disclosure
• We provide multi lingual support as required
• We aim to provide the best possible solution to your enquiry and will keep you informed throughout

We also provide specialist information by specialist charities on request and through our culturally relevant resources we aim to ensure that we encourage accessibility and awareness through rapport, trust and confidentiality.

The service has been rolled out nationally as part of our awareness raising campaign through presentations and photo-calls with local mayors.
