PTLLS is the new legal requirement for people who teach in post 16 education. Every teacher, facilitator or assessor will need this qualification by 2011.

Who is the course for:
• The course is suitable for anyone who is a trainer in the health industry, voluntary, community or charitable sectors.

• Understand own role, responsibilities and boundaries of role in relation to teaching
• Understand appropriate teaching and learning approaches in the specialist area
• Demonstrate session planning skills
• Understand how to deliver inclusive sessions which motivate learners
• Understand the use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping
